PathWand helps job seekers turn a resume into tailored application assets, find the right recruiters, and run personalized email outreach from their own inbox — so this policy pays special attention to how we handle your documents and your connected mailbox.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and password (or the details from a single sign-on provider you choose to use).
• Resume and profile content — the resume you upload and the details it contains, such as your work history, education, skills, and accomplishments.
• Generated assets — the tailored resumes, cover letters, and personalized email drafts that PathWand creates for you.
• Recruiter and contact data — the companies you target and the recruiter contacts you add or that PathWand helps you discover for your campaigns.
• Mailbox data — if you connect an email account, the information needed to send your campaigns and to detect and organize replies to the messages you send through PathWand.
• Usage and device information — log data, approximate location, browser type, and how you interact with the product, collected to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate the service — generate your application assets, help you find recruiters, send your outreach, and track replies in one place.
• To personalize the email drafts and recommendations PathWand produces for you.
• To pace your outreach with human-like send delays that protect your sender reputation and deliverability.
• To provide support, respond to your requests, and send transactional and product notifications.
• To monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.

Your connected mailbox

Connecting a mailbox is optional and always under your control. When you connect an email account (for example, via a secure OAuth authorization):

• We access only what is needed to send the campaigns you create and to read replies to messages you sent through PathWand so we can surface them in your unified inbox.
• We do not read unrelated email in your account, and we do not sell, rent, or share your mailbox contents.
• You can disconnect your mailbox at any time, which stops all further access.

AI processing

To generate assets and drafts, your content may be processed by trusted third-party AI providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your content, and we do not permit it to be used to train third-party models where an opt-out is available to us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Service providers — hosting, email delivery infrastructure, analytics, and AI providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• With your direction — when you send an outreach email, its contents are delivered to the recipients you choose.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PathWand, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can delete individual items (such as an uploaded resume or a campaign) or request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@pathwand.com. We honor applicable rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and to notify you and the relevant authorities if a breach affects you.

Children
