Terms of use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PathWand (“PathWand”, “we”, “us”), a product of MyTyTech. By accessing or using PathWand, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What PathWand does

PathWand helps job seekers turn a resume into tailored application assets (such as resumes and cover letters), build a list of relevant recruiters, generate personalized outreach emails, send those emails from your own connected mailbox with human-like pacing, and track replies in one place. PathWand is a tool to assist your job search — it does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use PathWand. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your responsibilities when sending outreach

Because PathWand sends email on your behalf, you are solely responsible for the messages you send and the recipients you choose. You agree that you will:

• Connect only email accounts that you own or are authorized to use.
• Comply with all applicable anti-spam and privacy laws, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL where relevant.
• Send only to recipients you have a legitimate reason to contact, and not use purchased, scraped, or illegally obtained contact lists.
• Accurately identify yourself and honor any opt-out or unsubscribe request promptly.
• Keep your messages truthful, relevant, and respectful.

You — not PathWand — are the sender of your emails and are responsible for their content and consequences.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, defraud, or spam others.
• Upload or send illegal, deceptive, infringing, or malicious content.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or provide access to the service without our written permission.

AI-generated content

PathWand uses AI to help draft resumes, cover letters, and outreach emails. This content is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before you send or submit it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Deliverability

Email deliverability depends on many factors outside our control, including your sender reputation, recipient mail servers, and how you use the product. We provide tools such as human-like send pacing to help, but we cannot guarantee that your emails will reach an inbox or receive a reply.

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit and, as between you and us, of the assets PathWand generates for you. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service. The PathWand name, logo, and software are the property of MyTyTech and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Third-party services

PathWand integrates with third parties, such as email providers you connect and AI providers that process content. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

Payments and subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance and, except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing, are non-refundable. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with notice.

Termination

You may stop using PathWand and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure, with notice where reasonably possible.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PathWand and MyTyTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email. Continued use of PathWand after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
